The Untitled States

The setting for the Kintsugi Bean series takes place in the Untitled States, the name those in the Animal Kingdom give to a geographic area some call the Island. Bean is from a very old and prominent turtle family who primarily occupy the lowlands of the Grappaho Mountains. He has spent his whole life there with his family and friends, inventing, writing poetry and song, and trying to hide away from the public eye. The first book begins with Bean being taken away from his home and all he knows dear by an evil force rising in the land.

The first book left off with two kidnapped turdtles, Leonard and Bean. They were taken for an experiment by Dr. Nim and all of Grappaho Mountain lowland residents are out looking for the children of Norma and Gene. They have called in old favors and imposed on friends from long ago to find their two boys. the second book of the series picks up with the search and takes you even deeper in to a world where everyhing you think you know about animals is called into question. Be careful, for the secrets revealed in this book are from a much older history and contain a much deeper knowledge than previously known by humans.
